Super Mario 64 New ROM Findings (Unused Textures!)

Recently I was digging through versions of SM64 and I found some unused assets while doing so. I am pretty sure the Yoshi Egg has been known for a while but I wanted to include everything.
First of all, there is some unused symbols that are not used anywhere during the normal game. These can be found in specific versions of game. The reason they were cut in certain versions
is due to a lack of use for them. Something notable is the key sprite, this was very likely used for Big Boo's Haunt as Mario was planned to collect keys so he could get to higher places in the mansion.

The smiley face texture was possibly meant for an unused fully 3D Lakitu cloud but obviously got cut. The cactus was most likely intended as scenery in Shifting Sand Land. The cracked ice was
probbaly meant for Snowman's Land since we see more ice in that stage than Cool Cool Mountain. It may have been used for the igloo area. The Yoshi egg has a model, textures, and a bouncing animation.
It’s likely that Yoshi was planned to have a larger role in the game than he actually does, and he would have appeared out of these eggs, just as he does in Super Mario World, and as he would later do
in Super Mario Sunshine. This egg loads to memory in Whomp’s Fortress and Wet Dry World so he may have appeared in those stages to help the player, especially Wet Dry World. The flower is part of
an unused environmental effect which causes many flowers to be scattered around the ground. The purpose it would serve is currently unknown but I think it may have been used in Bob-omb Battlefield.
The weird rock texture might have been used in the Training Stage (Beta Wet Dry World). The chain is probbaly just an earlier Chain Chomp chain, the Bowser eye texture can be seen in some early footage,
and weird Wing textures are unused varients for the Metal Wing Cap. The unused Mario eye might be for cutscenes but they never get used. The brown tube looking texture and the blue carpet seem to be
for Big Boo's Haunt. The last 2 textures which are the checkerboard and strange looking red "?" texture are for the beta trampoline.

Some of the stuff explained and other notable things.

Super Mario 64 2 (Super Mario 128)

An image of the SM64 2 demo with Mario and Luigi in a level similar to Rainbow Ride. Look at the HUD!

Super Mario 64 2 (Later known Super Mario 128) was an unreleased sequel to Super Mario 64 which was planned to release in December 1999. It was going to be for the Nintendo 64DD, but was cancelled early
in development due to a lack of progress and the commercial failure of the 64DD. It was said that the game was going to be more edgy compared to the original Super Mario 64 and have darker themes and colors.
It is possible that Super Mario Sunshine and Super Mario Galaxy could have elements salvaged from the development of Super Mario 64 2. Other characters and concepts cut from the first game were set to return
in this game, such as Luigi and a rideable Yoshi. It was going to include a multiplayer option, multiplayer was actually one of the earliest things made for SM64 2. This game likely included power-ups such as the
Super Mushroom, Fire Flower, and Invincibility Star. It is thought that the game would also bring back many beta elements of the original game such as the HUD, levels, and objects. Or possible the game was
been built off of an Prototype SM64. The game development was reset and became SM128 based off of the unfinished quality of the demo.

How I think SM64 2 would've looked like:
